The walls of Neuschwanstein are decorated with frescoes depicting scenes from many of Richard Wagner's, operas, especially the swan-themed Lohengrin.

Gay Prides in Germany are named CSD :Christopher-Street-Day .
CSD is the annual European LGBT celebration in various cities in Germany.
The name comes from the New York's Christopher Street in Greenwich Village where on June 28, 1969 a police assaults against gays .
The first CSD was in Bremen and Berlin in 1979.
(beside a small version in Münster in April 1972) .
There are now 37 CSD days in Germany .
